Taylor Swift Wins Again At 66th GRAMMYS

Taylor Swift adds another Grammy to her shelf (she had 13 before last night), winning Album of the Year and accepting the award from the one and only: Celine Dion.

The 66th Grammy Awards was an evening filled with awkward pauses, long acceptance walks and only a handful of memorable performances.

Perhaps the biggest take away from the NFL football field and the Grammy stage is… Taylor Swift is one of the most powerful artists in the world, if not “the” most powerful. From announcing her next album “The Tortured Poets Department” (releasing April 2024) to the deafening screams of fans just at the sight of her walking into the Crypto.com Arena, the singer has an army of Swifties here, there and everywhere.

Swift announced her next album and said she would post the album cover as soon as she walked backstage. Within seconds, the album cover post went from 100k+ likes to 4 million hearts. The poor post peaked at just 12 million likes.

Swifties aside, the memorable moments included Tracy Chapman joining in on the duet of her famous “Fast Car” song. Joni Mitchell performed for the very first time at 80 years-old with Brandi Carlile. Stevie Wonder, Billie Joel and Jon Baptiste also took the stage.

Travis Scott’s set was mostly fog machines overloading and folding chairs being thrown about stage. Burna Boy’s Grammy moment seemed way too short, but Fantasia did justice to Tina Turner with her tribute.
