Experience the Lightscape magic that outlets like Los Angeles Times, Los Angeles Magazine, Los Angeles Daily News, Pasadena Weekly, Arroyo Monthly Magazine, San Gabriel Valley Tribune, L.A. Parent, LAist, KTLA, KABC, KCBS, KCAL, KCRW, KIIS, KFI, KOST, Thrillist, PureWow and more recommend as one of the top things to do in Los Angeles this season!
Holiday cheer fills the air throughout Lightscape’s installations – such as inside Winter Cathedral’s heavenly arch tunnel and around Snowflake Avenue’s fanciful feathery ice crystals – with spirited songs such as Michael Bublé classics “Holly Jolly Christmas,” “Winter Wonderland” and “Cold December Night” and Trans-Siberian Orchestra’s merry rock symphonies “Christmas Eve / Sarajevo 12/24” and “Wizards in Winter.”
In addition to other extraordinarily photogenic backdrops, grab a bite or drink at multiple food trucks and full-service bars. Seasonal favorites hot chocolate and s’mores, will also be available.
Lightscape Reimagined for 2023 is presented by US Bank. It was conceived and designed by a core team of 12 visionaries worldwide. A full-time team of 21 local electricians, carpenters, and artists with help from an auxiliary team of 40 vendors and specialists, takes 20 days to install the illuminated trail. The Los Angeles County Arboretum & Botanic Gardens and Sony Music and Culture Creative produce Lightscape in Los Angeles. Year after year, Lightscape has amazed millions of people with similar shows in multiple locations across the U.S., U.K., and Australia.
This year marks the 75th anniversary of the Los Angeles County Arboretum & Botanic Garden.
The Arboretum is located at 301 North Baldwin Ave, Arcadia, CA 91007. www.arboretum.org
