Starbucks and Coffee Beans are the perfect example of how much people will pay for a ‘cup of Joe.’ There is a new trend in LA, Brew Coffee Bar, serving Los Angeles the world’s finest specialty coffees. They provide beans from the acclaimed Stumptown Coffee Roasters, award-winning teas by MEM tea, and fresh baked pastries from one of LA’s favorite bakeries, Breadbar; a style of cooking inspired by classic French baking and cuisine, but with a modern American twist.
The coffee comes from Stumptown Coffee Roasters, a Portland, Oregon based company widely renowned for their exquisite coffee, and known for their “Hairbender” blend, which combines beans from the 3 major coffee-growing regions: Latin America, Africa and Indonesia. This blend has been greatly acclaimed for its amazing array of flavors that include hints of jasmine, citrus, chocolate, and caramel, among others.
In addition to coffee they also offer some of the best teas and pastries. They carry MEM tea from MEM tea imports, a Massachusetts-based tea company that has been called the Best Tea in America by the World Tea Expo, Specialty Tea Institute and the Tea Association of America.
Their “mobile café” can be found parked daily on the corner of Figueroa and 7th St. in Downtown Los Angeles. The mobile cafe is housed in a sprinter van, equipped with what is known as the best espresso maker in the world by coffee experts, the marzocco GB5. It is available for catering events as well! birthday parties, concert events, production sets, sporting events, and others.
