Ivana Trump was best known as the ex-wife to former President Donald Trump. The socialite and former model has passed away at the age of 73, according to reports.
Donald Trump posted on social media:
“I am very saddened to inform all of those that loved her, of which there are many, that Ivana Trump has passed away at her home in New York City. She was a wonderful, beautiful, and amazing woman, who led a great and inspirational life. Her pride and joy were her three children, Donald Jr., Ivanka, and Eric. She was so proud of them, as we were all so proud of her. Rest In Peace, Ivana!”
Ivana was the mother to Donald Jr., Ivanka and Eric Trump. When she and Donald divorced in 1990, Ivana received a $20 million divorce settlement.
She later published several books including For Love Alone, Free to Love, as well as the self-help book The Best Is Yet to Come: Coping With Divorce and Enjoying Life Again (1995).
Before her social elite life, Ivana’s last name was Zelnícková. She was originally from Czechoslovakia (now the Czech Republic). A competitive skier, she became an instructor before entering the world of modeling in the 1970s.
