Deadline reported that actor Ray Liotta has died at the age of 67.

The Emmy-winning actor who rose to fame after starring in Martin Scorsese’s crime hit GOODFELLAS, died in his sleep in the Dominican Republic, where he was shooting the film DANGEROUS WATERS, according to reports. The cause of death is known.
Originally from Newark, New Jersey, Liotta got his on-screen start on the Daytime drama ANOTHER WORLD, before he portrayed ex-con husband to Melanie Griffith in SOMETHING WILD. He received praise for his performance in FIELD OF DREAMS opposite Kevin Costner.
He went onto star in GOODFELLAS in 1992 with Robert De Niro and Joe Pesci and NO ESCAPE in 1994.
In 2005, he earned an Emmy for his guest appearance on ER. Other projects included: THE PLACE BEYOND THE PINES, TEXAS RISING, SHADES OF BLUE, MARRIAGE STORY, THE MANY SAINTS OF NEWARK and more.
According to Liotta’s IMDB, he was filming several projects, including APRIL 29, 1992, THE SUBSTANCE and DANGEROUS WATERS, where he was found dead. Audiences will see him in the upcoming TV series, BLACK BIRD, as well as EL TONTO and COCAINE BEAR.
Liotta is survived by his daughter, Karsen. He was engaged to be married to Jacy Nittolo.
