Salt & Straw has a slew of Halloween-themed ice cream flavors available at all its LA scoop shops for the month of October, and Gracias Madre is the perfect place to kick off Dia de los Muertos this year with an Aztec-inspired decorating ceremony and special menu items in honor of the celebration.
Through October 31st, Salt & Straw’s Head Ice Cream Maker Tyler Malek embraces the spirit of Halloween with his “Spooktacular” series that adds The Great Candycopia, Dracula’s Blood Pudding, Essence of Ghost, Jack o’ Lantern Pumpkin Sherbet, and Love Potion Sorbet to this month’s flavor lineup alongside the creamery’s classic specialties. Flavors will be available by the scoop and pint at the Larchmont Village, Abbot Kinney, Studio City, and Arts District locations all month. For more information, visit saltandstraw.com/flavors/#la.
Starting Sunday 10/30 at 1pm, Gracias Madre will kick off an early Dia de Los Muertos celebration that will last through 11/1.
