2017 CES Innovation Awards: ‘Best of’ Winners Announced

CES, the world's largest gathering of connectivity and innovation concluded this past weekend. Over 175,000 industry professionals convened in Las Vegas, NV to behold the future of their respective fields and the groundbreaking work of their peers. From the field, 28 'Best of Innovation' Winners were selected among topics including Virtual Reality, Wearable Technology, and 3D Printing to name a few.

"CES 2017 wasa global showcase that demonstrated that we are in a new era of innovation where technology is valued not just for the devices it produces but for the experiences it makes possible," said Bridget Karlin, managing director, IOT, Intel.

Over 600 startups had the opportunity to showcase their work for a crowd which included distinguished leaders such as US Senator Dean Heller, as well as the Federal Trade Commission, Department of Energy, and the Federal Aviation Administration among others. Global leaders in attendence included Prince Constantijn of the Netherlands, French presidential candidate Axelle Lemaire, and Navdeep Bains, Canada's Minister of Innovation, Science and Innovation.

"CES educates public officials about our industry," said John Godfrey, Senior Vice President of Public Policy, Samsung Electronics. "It was great to see so many key officials at this year's show."

Here are a few of this year's 'Best of Innovation' honorees and their categories.
