Alex Badia, WWDPenske Media's WWD appointed Alex Badia Style Director.

Badia, who most recently served as Sittings Director and Men's Fashion Director for WWD, will be responsible for overseeing all shoots for men's and women's fashion, accessories and beauty.

In this newly created role, Badia will work with the photo and art departments together with WWD's stylists and market editors to continue elevating the fashion identity of WWD's weekly magazine, digital daily and website.

"Alex's enterprising skills and creativity can be seen in the success of WWD's menswear coverage, which is an increasingly influential source of emerging men's fashion," said Edward Nardoza, WWD Editor-in-Chief. "We're eager to see Alex expand his talent for aligning the right photographer, model, location and overall visual concepts across all WWD coverage and platforms."

Along with developing and executing story ideas with striking visuals, Badia and WWD's creative team will also seek to maximize WWD's access to talent by raising the bar on its celebrity portrait photography.

"I look forward to capitalizing on WWD's incredible access to talent and brands to further cultivate our first-look coverage across all WWD content," said Badia. "With a weekly that's more visual than ever it's exciting to evolve our look toward a bigger-picture identity."
