Summer box office season is over and the record-breaking numbers have dwindled. The young adult book series adaptation, "Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials," took first place over "Black Mass," which was praised by critics. Last week's #1 winner, "The Perfect Guy" dropped down to the fourth spot, just below M. Night Shyamalan's "The Visit." With the big Emmy weekend, TV had the spotlight over movies.
