Twitter is about to launch Periscope, an app separate from the social media site which allows you to see live broadcasts happening now or watch recently recorded ones. Periscope will allow both public and private broadcasts. You’ll be able to share a link to your stream to Twitter, as well as on Periscope.
They are marketing it with the slogan, “Explore the world through someone else’s eyes.”
