Kristen Stewart Makes Music Video Directorial Debut

Buffalo David Bitton that it will partner with renowned actress, Kristen Stewart, for the third initiative of its “Blank Check Series,” a program which supports self-expression and the arts by partnering with today’s cultural innovators.

Stewart, who makes her directorial debut with the music video “Take Me to the South,” is a longtime friend of Sage Galesi, whose Nashville-based rock band, “Sage + the Saints” is releasing its self-titled album this October.  The music video, which was shot in both Los Angeles and Nashville, was directed by Stewart and produced by Starlight Studios.

Kristen Stewart commented, “Working with Sage + The Saints for my directorial debut was a fantastic and rewarding experience.  I’m extremely proud of what I and my co-creators at Starlight Studios have accomplished, and grateful for the Buffalo Blank Check Series for facilitating our creativity and artistic vision.” 

The music video, directed by Stewart, follows Buffalo David Bitton’s “Blank Check Series” projects with acclaimed stylist Kate Young, as well as hip-hop duo Macklemore & Ryan Lewis. Kate Young designed a denim-inspired holiday installation at retail for Lord & Taylor, while Macklemore & Ryan Lewis chose to work with Buffalo David Bitton to film and produce a documentary, providing viewers with a behind-the-scenes glimpse at their first world-wide arena tour.
