New Music Friday: Noah Cyrus & PJ Harding, KEM , UPSAHL, Poppymoon, Surf Mesa & Madison Beer, Leela James, Birdy

Multiplatinum, Best New Artist Grammy-nominated songstress Noah Cyrus and sought-after Australian songwriter and producer PJ Harding [Chromeo, Ruel, Jessica Mauboy, Guy Sebastian] forged an unbreakable creative union after co-writing four songs from Noah's 2020 EP, "The End of Everything," including the double-platinum hit "July." Today, they introduce their collaboration with "Dear August." Uplifted by delicate acoustic guitar, their voices co-mingle, picking up threads of Americana, folk, and classic country along the way.

KEM premiered the sensual video for his new hit single, “Live Out Your Love.” Directed by Gerald Plaid Isaac, the uplifting short follows a couple living out their love in ultra-romantic fashion. Promising a big surprise, the man lovingly escorts his leading lady, blindfolded, through an opulent entryway. In a ballroom decorated with lush floral arrangements, she discovers a gift with special meaning.

Following closely on the heels of a whirlwind 2020 that saw her skyrocket past 100 million streams, critically-acclaimed trailblazer UPSAHL has now released her latest earworm anthem, “Stop!”, out today via Arista Records.  “Stop!” is UPSAHL at her best, complete with stellar production, an irresistible beat, and her signature unfiltered lyricism.

Poppymoon is a German pop duo founded in 2020 by producer djaaaen and singer Sabina. Infusing their sound with elements of their past life in a rock band together, the duo create a darker pop sound that nonetheless remains groovy as hell. Inspired by their own experiences coming of age in today's world, their lyrics explore topics around mental health, self-discovery, freedom, and hope.

Surf Mesa and Madison Beer celebrate the euphoria of young love in the new single, “Carried Away,” released today by Astralwerks. Coming of age and falling in love may look different in quarantine, yet the duo evokes the timeless essence of romance that remains unchanged.

R&B powerhouse singer/songwriter Leela James follows up her new single release, "Complicated," with the release of a new video. Known to "speak the truth" and deliver soulful messages through her music, Leela has not taken her foot off the gas with "Complicated."  A catchy, mid-tempo story that is reflective of James' lyrical journey and musical excellence, "Complicated" is written by Rex Rideout and Leela James and produced by Rex Rideout.

Grammy nominated singer/songwriter Birdy release a brand new single "Surrender," the first to be lifted from her highly anticipated fourth studio album "Young Heart," out via Atlantic Records. The track arrives alongside a stunning official music video, directed by Grammy Award-winning director Sophie Mueller
