New Music Friday: Devon Gilfillian, Smith & Burrows, Still Corners, Joe Hanson, Mills, Juliana, J. Brown

Devon Gilfillian’s GRAMMY®-nominated debut album includes a new, stripped-down version of “Thank Me Later.” The New York Times hailed "Black Hole Rainbow" as a “formidable debut album” and The Tennessean declared it “one of the best albums released this year, period.”

Smith & Burrows are pleased to share the video for new track "Parliament Hill." Ten years after their first outing, Funny Looking Angels the pair have finally reunited to release the second collaborative collection of songs under the tongue-in-cheek "Only Smith & Burrows Is Good Enough" moniker.

Still Corners are pleased to share new track "White Sands," taken from their forthcoming fifth studio album, "The Last Exit," that will be released next Friday, January 22nd, 2021 via Wrecking Light Records. Premiering this morning via KEXP, you can listen to the track and watch its wayfaring lyric video.

This week, CMT premiered the official music video for rising country singer/songwriter Joe Hanson's song "Head Over Wheels." In addition, the video has been picked as CMT's 'Next Up Now' feature.

Mills, singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, troubadour, releases his new song "Hollow."  With his poetic storytelling and distinctive harmonies that evoke the 1970s era of Laurel Canyon, 20 year old Mills emerges as a troubadour for the modern age, vividly spinning tales of young love, happiness and heartbreak.

Emerging pop singer and songwriter Juliana. has released her new single "Love Preview" along with an accompanying music video. The hopeful love song documents the blossoming, and often delusional, stages of a new relationship with the Los Angeles-born and based artist wondering, "what is this feeling? Tell me the truth. Will you fall in love, 'cause I just fell for you?"

J. Brown has a new single out called "Vibe," written by J. Brown, Maurice Harley and Steve James and produced by GC. The visuals to the feel-good song were directed by Rokstar Films. "I wanted to create something that was very different from my other records and I just wanted to have some fun with this single," mentions J. Brown. "Hopefully my fans enjoy hearing "vibe" and love it as much as I do," he adds.
