 The 71st Los Angeles Area Emmy Awards Winners Are…

 The 71st Los Angeles Area Emmy Awards, presented by the Television Academy, were handed out this weekend at the Television Academy’s Saban Media Center.

Producing this year’s awards ceremony for the Television Academy was Bob Bain. Awards were presented by local area personalities, reporters and newscasters, as well as comedian Flula Borg, Kether Donohue from You’re the Worst, Brett Gelman of Stranger Things, international drag icon Rhea Litre, Melissa Fumero of Brooklyn Nine-Nine, broadcast journalist Michaela Pereira, and Willam from RuPaul’s Drag Race.

Mitch Waldow is Vice Chair, Los Angeles Area, serving on the Academy’s Executive Committee. Paul Button and Brenda Brkusic-Milinkovic are the Los Angeles Area Governors.
