PADMA LAKSHMI:  Hair by Michael Dueñas

  • I prepped Padmas damp hair with Garnier Fructis Smooth Blow Dry and Garnier Fructis Damage Eraser.
  • Working with horizontal sections, I used my large round Oribe brush, pulling up from the root to get maximum volume.
  • I rolled every other section over the brush, and then the next under the brush, to keep texture.
  • Once finished, I used my Amika flat iron from 3/4 down the hair shaft to the ends to straighten the ends completely. I finished the look with R+Co Outerspace Hairspray and Garnier Fructis Frizz Guard.

FELICITY HUFFMAN:  Makeup by Austin Evans

For this year’s Emmy’s, Felicity wore a tailored black suit and my gut instinct was to do a bronze smoky eye. I prepped her skin with Ceramiracle's The Essence for a light layer of moisture and pressed Ceramiracle’s The Serum on top to create a smooth, hydrated canvas for the makeup. The combination of these two skincare products allowed the foundation – Chanel’s Perfection Lumiere Velvet – to apply evenly and smoothly. I used the Tom Ford Shade & Illuminate to warm up the contours of her face and set the foundation with translucent powder. I kept the eyes simple, using just a brown pencil and MAC’s Mulch eyeshadow with Too Faced’s Better Than Sex Mascara and a few individual lashes concentrated along the center of her lid. Lastly, I finished with lips using MAC’s lipliner in Soar and put NARS lipgloss in Greek Holiday over the top.
