Cartier Carat Fragrance Inspired By Floral Notes & Rainbow Shades

cartier carat

You can always rely on Cartier for a beautiful and timeless bottle design. They have just announced their latest fragrance: Cartier Carat.

For the creation of Carat, In-House Perfumer Mathilde Laurent was inspired by the radiance of a diamond as the connection between all her creations is the olfactory style of Cartier.

The eau de parfum marries seven floral notes with the seven colors of the rainbow as seen reflected through a diamond & Mathilde Laurent chose to utilize the flowers instead of rays of light to represent every color of the rainbow.

These seven beautiful fresh flowers come together to form a new flower, abstract but alive, like the light of a diamond.

  • Hyacinth for Indigo
  • Violet for Violet
  • Iris for blue
  • Honeysuckle for Orange
  • Tulip for Red
  • Ylang-Ylang for Green
  • Daffodil for Yellow

The scent works together to create an abstract white flower, to mirror the white light of fire that creates a diamond.

The 3.3oz bottle is $145 (now available at Cartier.com and launching at retailers including Nordstrom & Nordstrom.com come September 1st).
