This one-day preview of the new onboard offering will be served on 50 flights departing after 10 a.m. and will be available to guests at least 21 years of age.

House Wine Rosé will become a seasonal offering for purchase on most Alaska Airlines flights from July 1 through Aug. 31. Made with grapes from the Columbia Valley, the Washington rosé will provide guests a new, crisp, light summer wine option in addition to the existing offerings from Canoe Ridge Vineyard and LaMarca in the main cabin and Chateau Ste. Michelle in first class.

In addition to increasing the variety of onboard food and beverage options, Alaska also recently announced additional enhancements to the onboard customer experience including the ability for Alaska first class guests to pre-select meals before they fly, which is expected to be available later this year. The ability for guests in the main cabin to pre-select their meal purchase on the Alaska Airlines mobile app is available today. Also, by early 2018, Alaska's main cabin passengers will be able to pre-pay for their meals before they fly.

"We created House Wine Rosé to be enjoyed by anyone, anytime and in any place. We are excited to partner with Alaska Airlines and introduce the wine's crisp, refreshing flavors to their guests," said winemaker Hal Landvoigt. "Rosé wine continues to grow in popularity and we appreciate the opportunity to serve ours in-flight and celebrate this seasonal favorite."
