Josh Groban To Release Original Song From ‘Beauty And The Beast’

Internationally acclaimed recording artist Josh Groban has recorded an original song, "Evermore," for the upcoming Disney movie Beauty and the Beast. The song will play during the end credits.

"Evermore" is a soaring ballad performed in the film by the Beast (Dan Stevens) after he releases Belle (Emma Watson) to return to her father. It is written by eight-time Academy Award winning composer Alan Menken (The Little Mermaid, Aladdin) and veteran lyricist Tim Rice (Lion King, Evita), a three-time Oscar winner. Menken provides the film its score, a combination of new recordings of the original soundtrack as well as new songs made for the live-action reboot.

"I am honored to sing this beautiful new song by two of my absolute favorites, Alan Menken and Tim Rice," said Groban. "Beauty and the Beast has been with me since my childhood and to have a musical connection to this new film makes me so happy."

Beauty and the Beast comes out nationwide March 17th. The original soundtrack will be available on March 10th. To preorder the album, go to http://disneymusic.co/BeautySndtrkP.
