President Barack Obama spoke at a news conference post-Election Day. The President mentioned that he spoke with Donald Trump, congratulated his victory and invited him to the White House “to talk about making sure there is a successful transition between [their] presidencies.”
“I am confident that this incredible journey we’re on, as Americans, will go on.” He added, “I’m looking forward to do everything I can to make sure the next president is successful in that.”
