Actor, Harrison Ford was injured in a small solo plane crash on Thursday while piloting a vintage WWII P22 training plane.

After clipping a tree, Ford crash landed in a California golf course, about 100 yards away from where he took off at Santa Monica Airport. Reports suggest that the film actor is stabilized.

Los Angeles Assistant Fire Chief Patrick Butler said, “We are very thankful that the passenger had [only] very moderate injuries.”

According to reports, Ford had made contact with the communication station regarding experiencing engine trouble.

Ford’s son, Ben tweeted, “At the hospital. Dad is ok. Battered, but ok! He is every bit the man you would think he is. He is an incredibly strong man.”
