5 Ways Iggy Azalea Lit Up Drai’s Nightclub On NYE In Las Vegas

Iggy Azalea
In a town jam-packed with parties, celebrities and revelry, Iggy Azalea stood high above the rest (literally—11 stories above the Strip) by hosting the first ever live New Year’s Eve concert event at Drai’s Nightclub atop The Cromwell. Transforming the nightlife venue into a full-blown live concert spectacle, Azalea gave the standing-room-only crowd a powerful dose of something fancy to start off 2015.
Just as she counted down to the stroke of midnight, we will now count what made Iggy Azalea at Drai’s Nightclub the most in-demand ticket in Vegas.

1.  First Things First…
As a veteran performer at the club, Azalea has never been more at home in Las Vegas than when she’s at Drai’s.  The club is perched 11 stories high atop The Cromwell and offers the best unobstructed views of the famous Las Vegas Strip, boasts a massive outdoor party haven with multiple pools and cabanas, as well as a spacious, state-of-the-art indoor adult playground where partygoers get down to beats by renowned DJs and world-class performers.  The perfect setting for Azalea to ring in 2015, Drai’s Nightclub provided an unforgettable backdrop for the historic evening.

2.  Pulled Up Looking Picture Perfect…
Yowza, that entrance!  After getting glammed up in her room – a Boulevard Suite at The Cromwell, Azalea strutted over to Drai’s Nightclub for her takeover with boyfriend Nick Young of the LA Lakers in tow.  Donning a sexy silver-to-gold fringe ombre one-piece with sparkly nude fishnet tights, I-G-G-Y has never looked better.  She wore glittering heels during the midnight moment, but changed into a pair of silver over the knee boots for her performance.  Way to put the cap on a successful year while kicking off the new one in style.

3.  Champagne Spilling…
How many people can say they had their final seconds of 2014 boisterously celebrated by Iggy Azalea and Nick Young while everyone in the room downed a glass of champagne, then watched fireworks from the most beautiful view in all of Las Vegas high above the Strip? The full house at Drai’s Nightclub last night can.  As the midnight moment neared, Azalea took over the microphone, commanded full attention of the club and led an epic midnight dance party complete with champagne showers, confetti cannons and magnificent views overlooking one of the most famous streets in the world.  As fireworks danced through the sky, Azalea headed back in to prep for her big performance.

4.  Let The Whole World Feel It…
Maybe not the whole world, but anyone inside Drai’s Nightclub or around The Cromwell surely felt Azalea’s one-of-a-kind presence reverberate over the Strip.  Infusing every song with her signature style and energy, the crowd couldn’t help but “Bounce” around to her “Fancy” antics.  Making them “Beg For It” by showcasing her top singles, Azalea belted out other fan favorites like “Black Widow” and “Work.”

5.  You Already Know…
…and if not, then you should!  Google just released its top trending music artists of 2014 and the highest honor can’t be Igg-nored.  Leading that list is none other than the rap goddess herself – not to mention, she was also named as the sixth most searched human being for the year.  Billboard also just revealed the star’s song “Fancy “was the most streamed song of the year and her album “The New Classic” was the second most streamed album in 2014.  Fans who braved the chilly evening in Las Vegas on New Year’s Eve and found refuge at Drai’s Nightclub got to witness one of the top names in the world up close and personal.  Considering the star is about to embark on an arena tour, this more intimate live experience was a special treat for the sold-out crowd.

In true Las Vegas fashion, the party never ends at Drai’s Nightclub – especially not when it’s New Year’s.  On the decks tonight (Jan. 1) is DJ superduo Adventure Club, followed tomorrow (Jan. 2) by mysterious but oh-so-talented The Weeknd.  Rounding out the gargantuan week of performances is resident DJ 3LAU on Saturday, Jan. 3 and DJ Franzen hosting SunDrai’s on Sunday, Jan. 4.
Limited tickets for Adventure Club, The Weeknd, 3LAU and DJ Franzen can still be purchased online at www.draislv.com.
